Briefly, The African Eye Trust was founded by Mr Elijah Amooti who was working in HIV Volluntary Sector Organisations across the UK and The National Health Hervice in South West London Gum Clinics as a Modern African HIV Specialist Adviser for african communities.
The original organisations that surpported The african Eye Trust were NAM and i-base
He was assisted by a group of other people committed, Individuals from different backgrounds who were involved in HIV care ,prevention and treatment information work.
